How long should an espresso take to make?
There is no absolute number of seconds~ it depends on the blend. Because espresso coffee is made under pressure the better the blend of coffee the longer you can run water through it - so it comes down to experimentation. Bear in mind you also get a different result depending on the coffee machine you use because of the temperature difference between espresso machines.
